Operating Within Legal, Ethical, and Professional Boundaries

Standards That Govern Every Engagement

PIYemen is committed to conducting all engagements in accordance with applicable legal frameworks, professional ethical standards, and the specific requirements of each client's compliance environment.

The firm's professional standards are not aspirational — they are operational requirements that govern how every assignment is initiated, conducted, and reported.

Legal Compliance

All investigative and intelligence activities are conducted within the boundaries of applicable Yemeni law and relevant international legal frameworks. PIYemen does not engage in activities that are unlawful under any applicable jurisdiction.

Confidentiality Protocols

Client identity, engagement details, and all findings are protected under strict confidentiality agreements. Information is not shared with third parties without explicit client authorization, except where required by law.

No Unlawful Surveillance

PIYemen does not engage in unlawful surveillance, unauthorized interception of communications, or any investigative activity that violates the privacy rights of individuals under applicable law.

No Intrusive Practices

The firm does not employ coercive, deceptive, or intrusive investigative practices. All source engagement is conducted transparently and within professional boundaries.

Neutrality in Reporting

Reports reflect findings objectively, regardless of the outcome. PIYemen does not tailor findings to meet client expectations or produce reports that misrepresent the available evidence.

Data Handling

All personal and corporate data collected during engagements is handled responsibly, retained only as long as necessary, and disposed of securely upon engagement completion.

What PIYemen Does Not Do

For the avoidance of doubt, PIYemen explicitly does not engage in the following activities:

  • Unlawful surveillance or monitoring of individuals
  • Unauthorized access to private communications or digital systems
  • Coercive or threatening source engagement
  • Production of fabricated or misleading intelligence reports
  • Engagement in activities that would constitute a criminal offence under applicable law
  • Acceptance of assignments that require violation of professional ethical standards
  • Disclosure of client information to unauthorized third parties
